Back in the day I had a few NewGrounds accounts.
I had one back in 2008 that I forgot the password to by 2009, then I had one from 2016-2021 I had a few as well from 2021-2023 that I kept deleting due to the treatment musicians got on here.
Every time I would upload my older stuff it would say it was copyrighted or I didn't have the rights + I would lose access to uploading music as a result. I got thinking about it & it's likely because my older stuff is on Spotify, etc. which might fuck with the algorithm or something? Idk.
Anyways, giving it yet another shot & I'll test out some of my chiptune first that's not on Spotify or streaming services, and if the problem is genuinely just for myself to upload it to NewGrounds first then honestly I'll be happy with that. I'll just upload the finished products here first.
I did however on 2 occassions get told I didn't own my own music because of a sampled drum-loop. No I'm not kidding.
Here's to hoping things MIGHT be better this time.

Oh man, it really sucks that all of that happened with your music. It might have been because it was on Spotify, but you'd think Newgrounds would sorta expect some people with preexisting songs on other platforms to start posting here.
